Kid’s Place Learning Center is so much more than a daycare program.  We combine inspiration for learning in an atmosphere filled with love for each child.  The time a child spends playing allows for the most important discoveries.  We believe that a child needs to have a balance of child-initiated activities and teacher-led centers.  We understand that a Toddler’s world requires routine, planning, and flexibility.  A typical morning for our Toddler friends begins with a free choice when they arrive in the classroom

Free play choices may include playing housekeeping, puzzles, trains, or sensory items.  The children have a morning snack before they begin their circle activities.  During circle time, children welcome each other to school with a particular song, have a story read to them, and explore thematic songs for the week.  Children can explore tabletop centers.  The class enjoys gross motor play both indoors and out.  The toddlers have a daily report sent home about personal care, snacks, meals, and the day’s activities
