Kid's Place Learning Center is so much more than a daycare program.  We combine inspiration for learning in an atmosphere filled with love for each child.  The time a child spends playing allows for the most important discoveries.  We believe that a child needs to balance child-initiated activities and teacher-led centers.   A typical morning for our preschool friends begins with free choice when they arrive at the classroom.  Options may include playing at the train table, Legos, housekeeping, or making music with the instruments.  The children have a morning snack before they begin their circle activities.  Circle time includes discussing daily centers, singing songs, answering questions about the day calendar counting, weather reporting, and reading a story.  Children select from tabletop centers that they may explore with the assistance of the classroom teacher.  The class enjoys gross motor play both indoors and out.
